Legacy Early College, previously named Legacy Charter School, originated in 2010 through the vision of businessman William Brown, a lifelong advocate of education.  Today our region occupies the site of the historic Parker High School and the former Greenville County Fine Arts Center.  In 2017, renamed Legacy Early College to reflect our college-focused education programs.  High school scholars take classes at Greenville Technical College and North Greenville University, giving them a jump-start on their college career.  For more information about Parker High and its history, visit the alumni-sponsored Parker High website, or read more on Our Upstate Ancestry.  


Legacy’s education model combines academic excellence, nutrition, and fitness.  Legacy is a school of 80 percent mastery, serves only nutritious meals, and is the only public school in South Carolina that provides daily Physical Education for every student, as well as social, relational, and emotional skill-based lessons.  



The System Administrator will provide technical support for network and domain infrastructure and over 3000 stationary and mobile computing devices over the two campuses.





The following are the duties of this position:

  • Serves as the Title I technology point of contact for technology devices.
  • Maintain network infrastructure for both campuses, including switches, access points, firewall, and cabling. Network infrastructure also utilized by NVRs and IP Office.
  • Manage and maintain Windows Domain environment.
  • Manage MacOS environment utilizing Munki, DeployStudio, and Profile Manager.
  • Manage G Suite Domain for Students and Staff.
  • Setup and maintain testing environment for various Statewide tests and benchmarks (EOCEP, SCPASS/SC READY, NWEA MAP)
  • Add and maintain all devices in the school’s mobile device management software.
  • To assist with maintenance of all school owned technology equipment.
  • Maintain an inventory and perform record keeping functions of hardware locations, assignments, quantities, types and required repairs, including start-up and end-of-year processes.
  • Setup and maintains workstations, mobile devices, carts, printers, and assignments to default printers.
  • Perform break-fix on school issued devices as issues arise in the ticketing system.
  • Communicate any technology issues to the school’s Director of Technology.



Work Schedule

This position will operate on the centralized Legacy Early College central office calendar, on the 240-day schedule.

  • Long periods of standing and sitting and have the ability to lift items up to 25lbs. is required.
  • Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing.
  • Position will require travel.
  • Periodic participation in activities to support Legacy Early College is required.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Position will have periods of extended work week hours, which is required to support both the ongoing development of the region and the delivery of high quality education for all students.
