POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual to fill the position of IT Applications Specialist. The position will provide technical support, training and troubleshooting support for internal and external customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES 1. Window Server Management - Install, configure, and manage Windows servers hosted in a VMWare environment - Install, configure, and manage server networking services including DNS, DHCP, NPS, Active Directory, and Group Policy - Maintain computing resources by ensuring hardware, OS, security, and software patches are tested and installed in a timely manner 2. Help Desk Support - Ensure the timely completion of all assigned Requests for Support submitted through the IT department ticketing system, as well as, the documentation of all actions steps taken to resolve the request - Assist in the creation of training material for end-user - Assemble, install, configure, repair and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and components. 3. Backup and recovery - Maintain a data backup solution that ensures the availability of critical data in case of a disaster. 4. Follows all security guidelines and complies with all components of our privacy and security policies. - Including Firewalls, Switches, Aps 5. Application support includes: - Office365 - SharePoint - Windows Server 2008-2019 - QAD - Cisco Meraki - VMware - VoIP phone systems (ShoreTel phone system - Proofpoint - Antivirus Software - Helpdesk Software 5. Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management. 6. The position may require after-hours, weekends for emergencies and scheduled project/tasks. |
