Job Description: 

We are currently seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual to fill the position of IT Applications Specialist. The position will provide technical support, training and troubleshooting support for internal and external customers.

1. Window Server Management
- Install, configure, and manage Windows servers hosted in a VMWare environment
- Install, configure, and manage server networking services including DNS, DHCP, NPS, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Maintain computing resources by ensuring hardware, OS, security, and software patches are tested and installed in a timely manner
2. Help Desk Support
- Ensure the timely completion of all assigned Requests for Support submitted through the IT department ticketing system, as well as, the documentation of all actions steps taken to resolve the request
- Assist in the creation of training material for end-user
- Assemble, install, configure, repair and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and components.
3. Backup and recovery
- Maintain a data backup solution that ensures the availability of critical data in case of a disaster.
4. Follows all security guidelines and complies with all components of our privacy and security policies.
- Including Firewalls, Switches, Aps
5. Application support includes:
- Office365
- SharePoint
- Windows Server 2008-2019
- Cisco Meraki
- VMware
- VoIP phone systems (ShoreTel phone system
- Proofpoint
- Antivirus Software
- Helpdesk Software
5. Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
6. The position may require after-hours, weekends for emergencies and scheduled project/tasks.

Preferred Skills: 

Minimum Requirements:
1. IT certifications and/or accreditations – desired.
2. Server and network support (Virtual server Configuration)
3. Experience with:
- Windows Server 2008 - 2019
- Windows 10 Professional
- VMWare vSPhere 6
- Meraki
- Shoretel VOIP systems
- Linux based operating systems
4. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
5. Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Exceptional customer service skills
8. Must have a strong working knowledge of servers and networking.
9. Proven problem-solving, analytical and diagnostic skills.
